Refund policy

All recycled white goods come with a 28-day warranty, if your item develops a fault please contact the office immediately on 01506 652230, we will collect the item and retest in our store. If you have installed the item yourself and the fault lies there the warranty will be void if we have installed the item and it is faulty you will receive a full refund of all costs or a replacement item if we have one. 

New white goods have one year’s manufactory warranty it is the responsibility of the customer to register this and if a new good has a faulty contact them directly.

Under the distant sellers act you have the right to return any product you have purchased online within 7 days after delivery for any reason, however items must be kept in the same condition as when they were delivered.

Items purchased instore can only be returned if faulty, items that have been delivered or taken home can not be exchanged as they are sold as seen.

If you are not at the property on the arranged delivery day to take delivery of your items you will be charged to re deliver it. 

It is your responsibility to check the size of your space or the doors to fit items through failure to do this and in the event of an item not fitting you will be issued a credit note.

Items can be held with deposit for 4 weeks once the item is paid in full we can arrange delivery or collection of those items. All deposits are non-returnable but can be transferred to another item, if the full balance is not paid within 4 weeks deposits will be lost.

Damage to items which have been collected in person will not re refunded please note if a Fridge or freezer is collected it must be kept upright due to the gases.

All shortages and/or damage to property must be reported within 24 hours. Home Aid West Lothian can except no responsibility after this period. We deliver your items to the address agreed when booking in a delivery any changes to this must be made at least 24hours before delivery is due otherwise you may incur another delivery charge.
